This Valentine's Day, Indulge in French fare with a luxe menu prepared by Chef/ Owner Mawa McQueen in an open kitchen communal seating environment. Mawa’s Kitchen Restaurant will be offering a 4-course prix-fixe menu at $98.00 per person, not inclusive of beverage, tax, or gratuity. Great Books Discussion Series at Aspen Institute, 6:30pm
This five-week program offers participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the most significant books in the Western intellectual tradition through a weekly moderated dialogue. The 2018 series will feature authors Plato, Seneca, George Orwell, Sigmund Freud, Thomas Mann, and Mary Midgley, among others.

CARBONDALE

Couples Night at the Carbondale Clay Center, 6pm
Enjoy a night of romantic fun, using the pottery wheel with your date to create an unforgettable piece of pottery! Create and Paint your piece all while enjoying wine, chocolates, fruits and cheeses, listening to romantic music, with a projection of the movie Ghost playing in the background. $50 per couple (includes instruction, materials, firings, beverages and snacks). Reserve a one hour time slot on the pottery wheel (6-7 pm or 7-8 pm), and stay after to paint your work, snack, and enjoy the atmosphere.
