Snowmass Demo Days 2018

DemoDays2018_web01-2000.jpg

This weekend is the 4th Annual Snowmass Demo Days in Snowmass Base Village. Don't miss the action June 23-24, 2018. FREE!

This is one of my favorite events of the summer season and I don't even mountain bike. That's right, I really don't... In fact, everyone in my family does, but me. But I will admit I am pretty biased, because this event is produced and put on by my family and I. Every year people think it's put on by some big event producer, but that's not the case. It's an event put together with a lot of love, some amazing volunteers (they can't say no if they're family right?), a good amount of patience, very little sleep, and the support of our amazing sponsors (Snowmass Tourism, the Aspen Skiing Company, and The Crestwood Condominiums. Giant shout out to all the Snowmass Base Village restaurants and our lineup of bike exhibitors as well!).

Here is the scoop on what's happening this weekend...

  • 50% OFF downhill bike rentals at Four Mountain Sports
  • $10 OFF Park Ready Downhill Clinic
  • One (1) FREE Lost Forest Daily Admission (Includes Breathtaker Alpine Coaster and Treeline Trial Course)
  • 50% OFF Canopy Run Zipline Tour (Reservations required; call 844-865-7105 to book)

To redeem these offers: Visit the Snowmass Gondola Ticket Office or Four Mountain Sports – Base Village June 22-28 or call (844) 865-7105. To avoid a $5 replacement fee, don’t forget to bring your Aspen Card (ski pass). Reservations for the Canopy Run Zipline Tour are required – call to reserve.

So let me break it down for you... Snowmass Demo Days is FREE (you read that right), but it does not include lift access, only awesome bike demos. So if you want to earn your turns, you can pedal up Fanny Hill to Village Bound or over to the South Rim... Maybe you could even ask the demo exhibitor for a little extra time to pedal down to Sky Mountain Park if you really want to break a sweat.

If you don't like pedaling uphill, then you will need a lift ticket to the Snowmass Bike Park. If you are a passholder, you can get one free lift ticket to the Snowmass Bike Park during Passholder Week. SO - redeem your one free lift ticket during Demo Days and have one completely free day of mountain biking and demos.

If you don't know what you're doing, PLEASE don't try out mountain biking for the very first time on a $10,000+ demo bike. Someone gets hurt every year. Don't let it be you. Instead, head over to Four Mountain Sports, rent a bike (50% off for passholders June 22-28) and all the appropriate safety gear, and sign up for a Park Ready Downhill Clinic ($10 off for passholders June 22-28). I mean it. You'll thank me.
